I met Gus (and his mama) in the wee hours of the morning for his 6 month session in Haskell Park in Alton, IL! I am always amazed to see how much these babies grow between sessions, and Gus was no exception. He still looks the way he did at his newborn session, but bigger! I don’t think I could curl him all up in those wraps anymore!
Gus was very curious about me and my camera, and he was very serious about analyzing us! We got such great eye contact as a result of that.
I had never been to Haskell Park before, but it was the perfect little spot. It was small, quiet, and had some great features, like tall grass and trees for filtering the sun. I would definitely go back!
I also learned a lot about Alton and some of the historic homes that are there. Gus happens to live in one of them, and it is fabulous! Old homes are my favorite – there’s just something about them that makes me want to know all of its secrets. I always wonder, what happened there? What stories unfolded between its walls?
Here is a story I *can* share. It is the story of an early morning with an adorable baby boy at Haskell Park just over a week ago.
And here he is!
